The Theatre

The stage has always been a special place for me. I have always been the magician's assistant, knowing how the trick is done, but unable to perform it myself. I do not act. Well, I do not stage act. Those who know me call me a ham. All that aside, it is not the acting that so much intrigues me as everything else that surrounds the actor.  I love the illusion developed by the set, the purpose granted to the actor by the costume, the ability to time-travel with the lights. It has always been the role of the theatre to tantalize the imagination, to stimulate thought, and to nurture creativity.
